We are an ‘association of industries’ in Patalganga, Rasayani and surrounding industrial areas in Khalapur and Panvel constituencies of the Maharashtra state of India, established since 1984 with the objectives as elaborated bellow.

This is a NON Government Organization (NGO), a democratic institution and a Charitable Trust, registered under Charitable Trust Act 1949 and Cooperative Society Act 1956 and accordingly being run adhering to the principle of cooperation. This is primarily a non profit making organization and the funds eventually generated, either in operations or by donations are committed to be utilized for the social causes, primarily associated with the industries and later to the community at large, though committed to directives given by the donators for the respective donation amount.

- To support already established and upcoming manufacturing units for their common issues and the requirements, through the endeavours undertaken as follows;

A) Representing industries and coordinating with the regulatory institutions such as MIDC (Local / Town Planning Authority), Directorate of Industrial Safety And Health, Collectorate and its peer authorities such as District Industries Centre, Labour commissionate, Zillah Parishad and Village Panchayats , Public Works Department etc as well as other non government forums for their common concerns and the interest.

B) Coordinate and contribute for the development of common infrastructure required by the member industries.

C) Support and coordination for the social responsibility requirements for the industries at large.

D) Establish, organize or even manage community development ventures as need be, on recommendations of its members.

E) Establish and organize different discussion forums for different subject matters, such as ‘Human Relations’ ‘Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)’, Health Safety & Environment (HSE)’ and to coordinate the regulatory established forums such as ‘Mutual Aid Response Group (MARG).

F) Based on the need and the request from the individual member industry, advice them on their peculiar issues pertaining to dealing with local population and their leader in terms of their expectations or the demands as well as the issues pertaining to the industrial relations. Such aspect shall be limited to the in house expertise or from other members’ experiences and the requirement of professional support including the security aspects shall be in the scope of such member only.

G) Arrange and organize training sessions / workshops on the topics of members’ interest such as amendments in the regulatory norms and the rules, supervisory / executive developments, skill developments, First Aid etc.

H) Conduct and coordinate welfare and recreational events, competitions during appropriate occasions such as safety week, on the recommendations from the members.

- The Managing Committee of 11 board members is elected every two yearly from the members’ nominations, which is lead by the President, two Vice-Presidents, Treasurer, General Secretary and a Secretary. Office bearers are elected by the elected 11 members.

Next election will be due in March 2023.
