The need for the education for the wards of the industry workmen migrated to this new industrial zone along with children in the nearby villages, was categorically felt, as soon as Patalganga Industrial Area was started establishing since 1983. Honoring the need, the management of this association with active support of already established industries such as HOCL, HIL, Bombay Dyeing, Reliance, Cipla, Jaysynth Dye Chem, Lona Industries, established a PRIA School at MIDC Residential area at Mohopada which is within just 2 km radios from the industrial area.
The School established in year 1984 is, now of repute for its standard education offering English medium education comparatively in affordable fees structures where 1700 (+) children are getting benefited.
JOURNEY OF PRIA SCHOOL
PRIA School is non aided Govt. Recognized School running classes from Nursery to std.X. The seed of the school was sown on 18 – 06 - 1984 with 10 pupils and two teachers. Classes began in the Guest House of the Bombay Dyeing Colony. Now the present strength of the students is 1630 with 68 staff members. The school has its own buildings with all infrastructure and facilities. The medium of instruction is English and the school follows the pattern and syllabus of the Government of Maharashtra.
Our aim is to provide a dynamic and creative environment to the students which nurtures talent for the development of personality, professional skills and also to make them a responsible citizen.
We have excellent, devoted and well qualified staff, who takes care of students not only in academic activities but also for the overall development of the students.
The result for SSC examinations since 1993 is Excellent and the number of the students securing above 90% is increasing every year.
Our students participate in sports, cultural and social activities and are known for their best performances not only at district and state level but also at national level.
